BONNIE LINDSAY, Board of Trustees

Bonnie is a Human Resources Consultant serving clients in the private sector and humanitarian organizations. She gained 16 years of experience as a Performance Management Consultant with an international, Fortune 500 manufacturing company. Responsible for 1000 employees, her focus was on employee/executive development and effectiveness, training facilitation, team building, HR strategic planning, employee relations, and recruiting. Over the past seven years she has added diverse overseas experience while primarily living and working in South Africa and Mozambique. This has included launching a leadership training and equipping school for workers from 13 nations, as well as providing intercultural communication training to international field workers and their families in the areas of team effectiveness, field readiness and integration, and cross-cultural transitioning. Bonnie is currently living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

ARTAJ SINGH, President and Chairman, Board of Trustees

Artaj is President and Lead Physician of Primary Care Niagara which provides medical services for over 80,000 outpatient visits annually in the Niagara Region in Canada. He has over 30 years of experience with P&L responsibility in the healthcare, finance and development fields within Canada, U.S. and internationally. He was Senior Vice President and Manager of Medical Technology Investment Banking in the Investment Banking division of Key Bank, based in Cleveland, Ohio. His banking focus was on a broad range of corporate finance transactions with private and public companies. He has served as a Consultant, Vice President of Strategic Planning and Operations, Clinic Director and Practicing Physician. He has extensive strategy and operations experience, including acquisition, startup, management and growth of business entities in the U.S. and Canada. His clinical experience is in Emergency & Urgent Care Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Aviation Medicine, Travel Medicine and Primary Care. He has served on the Board of Directors of numerous for-profit and not-for-profit entities in Canada, US and Mozambique. He served on the Board of Directors of Health Partners International of Canada for 6 years, the last four as elected Board Chair. He has worked in and/or traveled through 32 countries. He received his BA and MD degrees from McMaster University, Canada. He received his MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Chicago, IL. He lives in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada and enjoys woodturning and aviation as a hobby.

GLEN SHEPHERD, Board of Trustees

Glen is the Divisional Secretary of The Salvation Army for Quebec, based in Montreal. He was educated at McGill University in Montreal, graduating with a B.A. (Honours) in Economics and Sociology and an M.A. in Economics.  He subsequently pursued theology studies at Wycliffe College, an Anglican seminary in Toronto. He later completed a program in non-profit management at Harvard Business School. Other recognition’s came in February, 2003 when the Government of France awarded Glen the Legion d’Honneur, the highest award that can be bestowed by the French Republic.  The citation noted his leadership of The Salvation Army during his time in France the important place of The Salvation Army in French life. In October 2007, he was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humanities Degree by Trinity Western University. He has worked in industry, and as a Salvation Army officer from 1979-2008 and since 2015.  From 2008-2015 he was the \president of Health Partners International of Canada, a Canadian-based relief and development organization involved in the improvement of  access to medicines and the development of better health systems in the developing world. The Shepherds have two children – John and Elizabeth.

TIM WINDSOR, Board of Trustees

Tim is the COO of Primary Care Niagara, President of Thinkers Marketing Consulting, and the President & CEO of Fervesco Inc., an international consulting firm. Over the past 20 years Tim has held various senior management and consulting positions in the Executive & Employee Development, Healthcare, Automotive, Construction, Real Estate Management and Publishing Industries. He has led volunteer organizations and currently provides on-going Management and Marketing consulting services for a variety of private, public and non-profit corporations in Canada, United States and Zimbabwe. Over the past several years he has worked in Mozambique, India, Guatemala, and Zimbabwe in leadership development of Business, Government, Civic and NGO leaders. He resides in Kitchener, Ontario Canada
